News and updates
A few updates for ya’ll:
First is that there is a Fire Restriction already posted in El Dorado National Forest. This means no fires in the woods. Sounds cold right? But it won’t be at all. We’ll have 4 separate powerful gas space heaters covering the bulk of the dance floor, and another for the chill tent. We’ll even have one for the DJ’s this year! Plus the weather forecast says lows in the 45-55 F range, which is much warmer than usual for this time of year.
Second is that we’ve sold a ton of tickets already. We don’t usually sell out, and we may have tickets at the door (check the events page for info). However, ticket prices will go up to $25 at the door. Buy now, save a few bucks, and save us all some hassle at the door.
Third, we’ll be serving breakfast on Sunday morning, for those awake and aware. The menu will consist of Mexican Breakfast items. Please feel free to bring food and drinks to contribute! Special thanks to Whatley, Ray and crew for making this happen.
Finally, our staffing sheet is now live. We’d love to have your help organizing this event. If you do sign up for a shift though, please make sure to show up for it. Finding someone to fill a gate shift at the last minute because you flaked is a big deal for us. You can find the current staffing sheet at http://www.tekno.us/revolution/staff/ Thanks for participating!

Question: Does “no fires” mean no bonfires, or does it mean no open flame as well (camp stoves, etc)?
Answer: gas powered camp stoves may be used but *only* when accompanied by a fire permit. They’re free and cover all of California. Here’s the easiest way to obtain one: http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/mendocino/passespermits/campfire/
Question: Can lasers cause a fire and should be used with EXTREME caution?
If the laser is big enough it could cause a fire yes. Unfortunately we don’t have access to lasers this big… Yet
